In this page , I would like to tell about AS117 or Diploma in wood industry which is only located at UiTM Pahang. In this program , I learn about wood Science and technology . Wood science and technology publishes original scientific research results and review papers covering the entire field of wood material science wood components and wood based products . Subjects are wood biology and wood quality , wood physics and physical technologies , wood chemistry and chemical technologies . Latest advantages in areas such as cell wall and wood formation , structural and chemical composition of wood and wood composites and their property relation , physical , mechanical and chemical characterization and relevant methodological developments , and microbiological degradation of wood and wood based products are reported .This involvement is in the form of applied research , development , investigation various forms of consultancy services and training , as well as in testing and inspection of materials and products in accredited laboratories .

I am glad to write a little bit about myself . Okay , now let me introduce myself . My name is Nur Fatiehah Bt Mohd Saffee . But , everyone calls me Tehah . So please call me Tehah . I was born in Kuala Terengganu and I also grew up in Kuala Terengganu too . Before I study at UiTM , my high school is SMK Bukit Besi . Now ,  I am a studying at the UiTM Jengka, Pahang . I am student in Diploma in Wood Technology . Now , I am a senior and I never listen the title junior again . If you all want to know , my favourite classes is sawmilling and wood machining , because the lecture for this subject is very interesting and energetic . For this subject , I learn about how to use the machine and their function . Now it over about the subject and I want to share about my favourite food . I love Kampung food because I come from Kampung only . But sometime I also love Western food like Spaghetti . I started like that food when I went to my friend house and she cooked to me that delicious  Spaghetti . I just stay at hostel and that why I can't cooked that Spaghetti by myself . When I was boring , I like to reading . It not a academic book but a novel . ''LEPASKAN MU KERANA TERPAKSA'' . That was the title of the novel that I was read . When I read that novel , I feel like I am the heroin in that story . hehe . But it just my imagination . Ohh ,before I forgot , I would like to share about my family . There are 8 member in my family , my father , my mother , 2 of sister , myself , the youngest sister and 2 the youngest brother . This is only from me for this time . ACTIVITY IN WOODTECH

* FAMILY CAMP

       - Family camp is a program for all student in Diploma Of Wood and Technology . From this                  activity we can get know each other and also our senior and junior . Family Camp usually was            held for 3 days and 2 night and was supported by lecturer and staff of Wood Industry .

* INTERPART

       - A program where all faculty doing this activity for every semester . Objective of this program is           to closer relationship between all member and also can released tension to learn . The sports               that have for this activity are like netball , futsal for men only and volleyball .

                                                     

* DINNER

        - This program also for all student from AS117 or student in Diploma in Wood Industry . This                program was conducted by student from semester 4 to celebrate senior semester 5                                because they last semester before they have practical . For every semester , we had                              different theme and for this semester our theme was English Vintage . 

                                   

* FOREST CAMP

        - Forest camp is the program for student semester 2 only . For this camp , usually was held at                 Penang . In this camp we can learn about forest and species wood in forest . We also has jungle           trekking and other activity that related with our courses . We had a camping at Penang for 7                 days . After that we also have camping a Lentang that was held for 3 days and 2 night .
